Updating from 0.9.7?
Manwe makes a recovery archive before upgrading existing data. Keep it until you're comfortable with the new setup.
Your work carries over
Conversations, reports, Worlds and promoted memory are preserved. You'll choose your model and complete onboarding again.
A fresh advisor roster
The legacy reusable advisor roster resets. Advisors recorded in historical reports remain.
If you need to roll back
Follow the instructions included with the recovery archive. Don't open upgraded data with Manwe 0.9.7.
Questions
Do I need a Manwe account?
No. The Mac app needs no Manwe account. Cloud models and connected services may need their own accounts or keys.
Is the web app still available?
Yes. Existing web-app accounts, purchases and decision runs remain at app.askmanwe.com. It's separate from the Mac app.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
Not today. Manwe is for Apple silicon Macs.
